2023 Information is Beautiful SPECIAL Awards NOMINATIONS

Nominations for the 2023 Information is Beautiful special awards closed on September 15, 2023.

This year, two Special Awards are open for nomination: Test of Time and Impactful Community Leader.

The winner for each will receive a cash prize of $1000 and a pair of free tickets to the Awards Ceremony. They will also be featured in our beautiful color broadsheet distributed at the Awards Ceremony and made available digitally for virtual attendees.

TEST of time

The Test of Time special award recognizes visualizations, research, and other work that has had a lasting impact in shaping our field. Examples of types of works that one could nominate for the award: new chart type or design approach, visualization library, visualization tool (digital/tech or analog), academic paper, book, other article, project/visualization, and a number of other types.

IMPACTFUL COMMUNITY LEADER

The Impactful Community Leader award recognizes an individual who has made a significant mark on the data visualization industry and community at large.
