🎤 Outlier 2026 speaker applications are open through Febraury 28, 2026. Talks can be delivered virtually or recorded. Submit a talk related to our 2026 theme “The Final Draft”. Data viz is always evolving, and this theme highlights iteration and the power of curiosity, feedback, context, and constraints.

📊The 2026 Du Bois Visualization Challenge kicks off today! The goal of the challenge is to celebrate the data viz legacy of W.E.B Du Bois—a Black American civil rights activist, sociologist and writer—by recreating the visualizations from the 1900 Paris Exposition using modern tools. Submit your work in the DVS Slack #challenge-dubois channel for a chance to win prizes 🎁
